I'm conditioned as a mofo, I need to run fast to get better.

Anyone have any experience with Nanospikes or other Khatoola products?

My wife's treadmill powers down about half the time when I push it up to around an 8.3. it's super annoying as I would like to really pin it on some of the shorter treadmill runs I get stuck doing.

The wife bought me a pair of Goodr sunglasses for running.

I love them.

It'll be nice to have running sunglasses that are more my style because previously I had to resort to Oakley-style frames because they were the only kind that wouldn't slip down my nose.

Iced by Yetis.

Also, it's kinda ridiculous that the Arizona guy is the last person in this thread to start wearing good running sunglasses.

Don't say that.

What happen? Still the quad?

The quad is mostly better. It hasn't bugged me on my last two runs. It's just everything else. My IT band, sciatic nerve, knees (especially my right knee). The worst, though, is I've got this absurd dull ache in my ankle now that stretches into the top of my left foot AND runs up the left side of my shin toward my knee. My shoulder hurts like a son of a bitch still. My lower back is aching. My left heel is flaring up again. ACK!

I get it. I feel like that occasionally.

I'll usually take a week off. Get a massage. Drink some beer.

Then once I start to get that itch to run again, all my ailments magically heal themselves.

I feel like every runner just needs a good reset every now and again.

This is fantastic advice. Thank you.

I've been in over-do mode for most of this year. I've pushed myself a lot and I'm sure that's what I'm feeling now. I just haven't been able to stop. It's a weird addiction type thing for me right now. I'm sure you've been there.

But, I'll have some forced down time next week. I'm going to a cabin in PA for Christmas. We leave Saturday morning and we won't come back until Wed Evening. So Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue, and Wed, I don't plan on doing anything active. Just writing, drinking, eating, and laughing. Should be a good, much needed break.

I've been going 6 days a week for a while now and my IT band had a mild flare up. I get what you're saying Joey, I've really enjoyed just being locked in and lost in my routine. We shouldn't be afraid to take a break if we need it. I know I need one, it's been about 9 months since ive been off.

It's so difficult to pull back. Why is that?

I love my donkey goggles. They do seem to scratch easily. I want to get more colors. The only thing that bothers me about sunglasses is they occasionally fog up on me.
