Is there a way to do that on Strava? My watch isn't specific.

You've been getting on the running, Joey.

I've been trying. It helps that the weather's been nicer and I can get out and about instead of just treadmill runs.

If walking counts... then I should put in that I've already walked 10.2 miles today. I'm at work now and I'm in all day. So I won't be getting any other kind of workout in.

I think we're all getting caught up on specifics, here. The streak idea, in my mind, is a commitment to get off your ass for 100 days. I would think that walking a significant distance in lieu of running/biking, or logging an indoor workout that you made time for and went out of your way to do in order to keep your streak alive would be acceptable. The only streak breaker should be laziness. Walking 10.2 miles in a day is not for the lazy.

You can log it as a run on your watch and edit the activity type in Strava after it uploads.

To be clear, I'm not participating in the streak this time around. This weekend I'm celebrating an early birthday by going into the mountains, kicking my feet up, and drinking whiskey by a fire for four straight days. I will NOT be working out at all. Probably not even walking a significant amount.

I just meant in general. I walk all over NYC. I tend to get 10 + miles in every day of walking, even on days in which I run.

Verb is second on the leaderboard this week and has 268 miles this year compared to dev's 50.

Why are we even having this conversation?

What does that have to do with anything? Why are you being a bitch again?

Mine is a Garmin Vivoactive 3. Is that what you have?

Anyway, I'm done hiking for the rest of the trip. Finished the day with a 2,000 elevation climb up Bear Mountain. It was a pain in the ass. My watch also probably lost a few miles and elevation over the last few days by pausing itself when I had to stop and wait for my wife.

I took Tim's tip and am now at 4.2 miles for the week. Should catch Dev by tomorrow morning.

Ugh. I'm getting really into biking. I biked 68 km on Sunday. Tomorrow I will bike at least 66 km. I will try to put up some runs on the weekend tho. I can probably get one in on Friday, and then if I run again Sunday I can probably take you this week. Anyway, I hope you have some good hikes and runs while you're out there. I'd like to get some hiking in.

We were on this trail yesterday that seemed to be primarily a mountain biking hot spot. It looked like a ton of fun. Like a bobsled run for bikers.

Sedona is great as long as you avoid the locals.

One of the few towns in America where the tourists are less obnoxious than the denizens.

I don't like anyone. Our air bnb people have not been seen on the property, thankfully.

This. Some of your local mtn bikers were more than a little dickish. Especially clickish post run in the bar. Some were really great though. Overall, too many people focused on how fast they're going rather than how much fun they're having.
