The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Well, I managed 31 miles last week. My left heel is being a real bitch. Today I ran 13. It was slow and awful. The heel warms up, but by mile 11, it was back to hurting. I'm frustrated, but I'm determined to turn it around. Have been doing weights for the past week and the 16/8 eating schedule.

16/8?
Intermittent fasting. I don't eat for 16 hours and then eat for 8. I can't give up certain foods, but I have no problem giving up certain hours. It's only been a week, but I'm finding it really easy since I rarely care about breakfast anyway. It feels like something I can do with relative consistency for the foreseeable future. I definitely don't feel deprived.
So basically don't eat from like 8PM to noon, then eat from noon to 8PM? Interesting. I don't eat much in the morning but I don't think I could fast completely. Psychologically I think it would just make me want to eat like a fucking maniac in that 8 hour window.
i havent been running much. im injured. i was gonna go today but im back country camping tomorrow. anyway i just got some new adidas adizeto adios, so im excited to test them.

I think I'm going to take the day off and hit the road tomorrow instead. I'm not burnt out and my legs aren't sore. I just need to get some chores done.
Doesn't feel like it will hurt me to take two days between short runs when all I'm trying to do is build up my endurance and breathing. Yet I feel guilty all the same.

Went to the track with the kids last night. Was gonna run, but the ankle was still really sore, so we just threw the football around and then watched the sunset from the bleachers.
My HM plan calls for two days rest after today, which is coming at the perfect time. After running only 3 times/week for a few months, this T-W-Th-Sa-Su schedule was starting to catch up with me.
