This is going to draw out a lot of hilarious responses from people who are "totally not racist at all but..."

Just change all the names. The Braves, the Chiefs, the Redskins.... the Seminoles etc.

The Washington Bullets changed their name for goodness sakes. Team mascots should not be news. Change the names pick an animal or a machine of some type.... move on.

I'm shocked more teams havnt done it, do they not realize the revenue windfall as all the fans will buy the new gear?

I've always thought one of these teams should change their name to the Thunderbirds. It actually WOULD honor Native Americans.

I've always wondered why teams don't work with groups in the area to come up with something that works for both sides. I mean... I know the reason they don't do it is because they just don't give a shit, but if they're hellbent on keeping with the current theme and don't want to be racist assholes about it, they could definitely make it work.

keep the name in cleveland, but just make the logo/mascot actually have some relevance to the name.

For as much as I love Darvish... and I am a big Darvish fan, I'd much rather the Brewers mortgage the farm and go after Archer, or some other younger pitcher, that could come at a cheaper payroll cost. Darvish would have really strapped them for cash especially with his age, and his W.S. performance. I just hope the crew doesn't go sign Arrieta now.

hey the Brewers supposedly offered Yu more than any other team. That would have been a ton of money tied into one player even in his prime.
Prospects you never know what they'll end up. They gave up a ton to get Sabathia and the only player that turned into anything, was the "player to be named later"
But if you give a F.A. a boat load of money and he ends up a bust, well you end up with Jeff Suppan all over again.

Twins sign Lance Lynn to a one year deal worth 12mm.

SP Lance Lynn
SP Jake Odorizzi
RP Addison Reed
RP Fernando Rodney
RP Zach Duke
SP Anibal Sanchez
SP Michael Pineda (DL)
