Yes many of the major statistical categories in baseball are referred to as averages, whereas similar statistics in other sports are referred to as percentages. That is true. Good point, Mickey.
Lmao no dumbass I mean no other sport plays anywhere near as long of a season.
The 1996 Chicago Bulls won the championship in 6 game series. The 1996 New York Yankees won the championship in 6 game series.
Bulls season from game 1 to championship game was 7 months and 13 days.
Yanks season from game 1 to championship hame was 6 months and 24 days. (aka Shorter season)
lol interpreting this as time elapsed instead of games played is one of the dumbest things i've ever seen on this website

Dan Wilson played catcher for 14 seasons, 12 with Seattle.
He has a career 13 WAR, 88 homers, and OPS in the 600’s.
Dan Wilson is in the Mariners hall of fame. Yikes.
Plus you can’t go 2 seconds without him being featured in some kind of M’s promotional effort. He retired like 15 years ago.
does jay buhner do anything for the m's these days?
Yeah Bone hangs around, and if I ever got myself an M’s replica jersey I’d probably go with ol’ #19.
Speaking of which they still haven’t re-issued 19 to anyone. The team will retire it eventually. Saving it til we are like 20-60 at the break one year and need to sell tix on a Saturday in the second half of the year.
The franchise absolutely lives on 1995 and 2001 nostalgia.
