The Brewers offense (outside the 3 allstars) has been HORRIBLE!!! They need to go get Machado, and they need to get him yesterday!
Cain, Yelich, Machado, Aguilar, Shaw, Braun/Thames (if either ever stays healthy) looks great on paper anyway.
Sorry about missing out on Machado, but at least the Brew Crew starts off the 2nd half with a high RTAR (Racist Tweets Above Replacement).
Sounds like Cain and JJ already had a nice long chat with Hader about the tweets... the "I hate gays" tweet was almost even more jarring, as he didn't say "I hate N..."
Also, Machados not traded yet so, theres still a chance (according to my latest annoying yahoo fantasy baseball update) I'm really getting sick of the daily updates
Based on absolutely nothing, I'm convinced the Brewers are getting JA Happ, and if they don't, I'm convinced they're bringing back Marco Estrada. Either way, a Jays pitcher is going to Milwaukee.
Braves desperately need a 2 top of the rotation starters. They have a gigantic pile of 3-5's in the organization. They just traded Wisler and Sims so they could get to the next Wisler and Sims. They already have disappointing Julio Teheran.
I would hope they traded more useless for us international slot money for Kevin Gausmann. They might as well bring up everyone in Triple A once a week at this point.
Kevin Gausmann might as well be a warm body. Bringing in another guy who isn't very good who doesn't figure in your plans long term and is unlikely to improve your team at all in the next two months is not understandable to me.

I guess the Brewers are thinking Moustakas at third, Shaw at second, Schoop at short.
With Jesus at first, according to the radio broadcast, the Brewers will have an infield over 1,000 pounds! I figured Shaw was getting flipped for a pitcher when they got Mouse

Weird they didn't get starting help. Wonder if they think Jimmy Nelson is coming back sooner than most think.

A guy who's never played the position in his life at 2B and a below-average defensive 2B at SS. What could possibly go wrong?
With the top rated defense SS in the game on the bench. So I assume the thinking is, get the lead early, turn it over to the shut out bullpen, and bring Arcia, someone else to play 2nd, and Broxton to play left in late. Cain, Yelich and Broxton are one of the top rated defensive outfields too so yeah.
I havnt seen any stats, do the Brewers pitchers have a higher fly ball then groundball rate? if its extreme, then the poor infield wont hurt as much?
