Looks like Mississippi St. is having a tough time handling that B1G speed.

Citrus, er, Capital One was pretty good but nice to see Georgia pulling away late.

That game was damn stressful. Clemson's D really impressed me. They've been pretty bad for 2 years now (last good year was when DaQuan Bowers was on the team), and everyone still talks about that WVU game last year. My oh my though, what a difference a year makes! The D held LSU to 0 points and 0 first downs on the 4th quarter, while racking up 6 sacks.

Tajh and Nuk were quite the dynamic duo again too. I really hope both of these guys come back for their senior year. If they do, and Sammy Watkins returns to form, and the D keeps playing like it did agains LSU, then 2013 just might be a very special year.

Between the Redskins beating the Cowboys and Clemson beating LSU, my new year has started out very, very well.

That play changed the game immediately. Unbelievable individual effort.

I have to say, after hearing how the superly duperly awesome the SEC is, I expected them to absolutely demolish every Big Ten team they played.

Yeah, at least the Big Ten has been competitive this year. They still have way too many teams on New Year's Day, though.

I like it. Makes New Year's Day feel important again. But I'm pretty sure nobody watched the Purdue game.

I know what you meant. I liked having most of them play all at once.

As a Georgia fan I sort of understand the cheering for the SEC in bowl games but it was still fun to see Florida fall flat last night.
I know it's still one of the big boy bowls but sad to the Sugar knocked down to meaningless consolation game status; Rose too. And the Orange is all way down to one of the "who cares?" games.

Florida last night looked like they were just there to party, and didn't remotely expect a game. Even in the waning moments, they had no real intensity.

Florida was not the 3rd best team in the country going into yesterday's game. Anyone who watched their anemic offense in November should have known this.

Have to show up to win games Gators.

Ok, seriously -- watching the SEC teams in these God-forsaken bowl games makes me nervous that Notre Dame may actually beat Alabama. And nothing could be more insufferable than a ND BCS Championship.

Teddy Bridgewater preceded by Taj freaking Boyd!!! Awesome games.

Georgia and Florida are unsuccessful because their players are stupid. It's not coaching it's dumb players. You aren't coached to commit stupid penalties and be in the wrong place on the field. Georgia and Florida probably have the dumbest collection of great athletic talent in the country. I'm sort of convinced there are guys on both teams that can't read at a 6th grade level.

That said, how's Muschamp working out for you Florida??? Charlie Strong owns that guy. Muschamp is unbelievably overrated as a head coach (perhaps not quite as much as Kiffin but close), he should have stuck as a coordinator.

That offense is horrible. Florida's defense is incredible when they play well and Matt Elam is ridiculous specifically, but the dicipline level of that team is atrocious, and they don't have the wherewithal currently to come from behind.

ND's defense is for real. They are loaded with the same caliber of talent that any of the SEC teams have. Their offense, not so much quite yet. I have no doubt they will find a QB but I don't think they are good enough on offense to get it done yet.

I think it's a close game, not too many points. Either way, it will be kind of insufferable.

Who you all have tonight. I say Oregon. K State will try to slow the game down like Stanford did against the ducks.
