It's not really their "style", but Forte in New England could be like soft core football porn.
What do you mean not their style? Forte could have another 100 catch season there. And hate it again.
As in they don't typically go after 30 year old free agent running backs, especially if they have to get in a bidding war with another team that will surely pay more than he's worth at this point.

Corey Dillon turned 30 the year the Patriots traded a 2nd round pick for him.

I thought about that, but trading a pick is a bit more circumstantial than going after high profile offensive weapons on the FA market. I think there are a handful of teams that will make Forte very player friendly offers. I just don't see the Pats being one of them.

I think it's unlikely too, but I wouldn't rule it out.

How often is a RB > 30 considered "High profile offense weapons"? My guess is not often, so no teams, much less the Patriots, get into a bidding war for them.

Another sneaky good offseason for the Bears. I like what Pace and Fox are doing with FA'cy. they've addressed the biggest weaknesses on the team with proven solid, young talent. It should give them some flexibility in the draft to go best available.

Another good offseason? Not so sure on that.
Though I do like what they've done so far. The defense should be pretty decent last year. They were mediocre last year and horrible against the run This could help them become top 10.
