Trevathan should help out the Bears a lot. I knew there was no way the Broncos could afford to keep him. I'm very glad he went to an NFC team.

I'm figuring in the draft that produced 3 capable to standout rookie starters in Amos, Goldman, and Langford. And we didn't even get to see our 1st round pick play a snap. If you are only speaking to the pre draft/FA signings then I can't imagine you weren't a little bit impressed by the Pernell McPhee grab? I'll give you that the rest of the early FA acquisitions left a lot to be desired, but Tracy Porter was another good cheap grab. Pace is showing a commitment to filling holes with proven young players without overpaying and then building the team through the draft. Trevathan, Freeman, and Hicks all have game-changing ability, and getting Massie puts our pro Bowl RG back where he belongs.

I reread your post and see you were only talking about Pace's work last year, no nm ;)
