I find this whole thing really moving. Argentina has had a tough several years, and for all the bluster and bombast they're famous for, they're also usually so down on their own country -- whenever I tell someone I've lived here for 17 years they ask "why haven't you left?", like they've grown jaded to all the wonderful things in this place. But to see everyone celebrate like this and embrace their national identity, I dunno, it really gets to me. I love this country

Congrats to Argentina. They played some great football over the past month. They had their issues but they dealt with them (although 3 times they wobbled at 2-0 up).
Crazy match this morning. Not the craziest I've ever seen but how France took it to extra time I still cannot fathom.
