The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Looks like shianco was signed by the ravens, but im hoping tom crabtree turns out to be good for the bucs, i don't think he got too many opportunities with the crowded pass catching group in GB but i think he has some potential. And on top of that, he is a pj fan, he was at the wrigley show

Welp.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have recently treated their facility in an effort to erase any existence of MRSA, a serious staph infection that has sidelined Pro Bowl guard Carl Nicks and resulted in place-kicker Lawrence Tynes having surgery this week on an infected toe, general manager Mark Dominik confirmed to ESPN.
Doctors diagnosed Nicks and Tynes as each having contracted MRSA, a powerful bacteria resistant to penicillin-type treatment. Nicks recently revealed he had a staph infection to his toe that would sideline him indefinitely. Bucs head athletic trainer Todd Toriscelli also has battled an infection since having offseason knee surgery, but he was not diagnosed with MRSA.
"We had a company come in and nuke the building a week ago after the cultures taken from Nicks and Tynes confirmed it was MRSA," Dominik said. "It was a precautionary move, but we didn't want to fool with it. Our owners said spare no expense. We had the facility treated, and the league office approved of our actions."
The NFL Players Association has been monitoring the extent of MRSA existence within the Bucs facility. Dominik said coach Greg? Schiano informed staff and players of the MRSA problem last week.
The Bucs signed place-kicker Rian Lindell on the same day Tynes had his surgery, in which the infection was scraped from his toe and his toe bone.
Tynes sought a second opinion after what originally was identified as an ingrown toenail failed to heal and became infected. Doctors at the New York Hospital for Special Surgery confirmed a diagnosis of MRSA.
Tynes has not participated in training camp, and with Lindell's signing, the Bucs have three kickers on the roster.

Did you see what Fran Tarkenton said about Josh Freeman? Said he can't play and the Bucs know it and want Glennon to beat him out for the starting job.

It wouldn't shock me, and Im really interested to see how freeman plays this week. Glennon looked good last week aside from that 1 bad pick, but i think freeman will at least get a half to show what he's got.
If they find a way to lose to the jets then i will also, but Im still hoping revis will make a huge difference on defense and the offense won't have to do too much. I still won't be shocked if freeman folds under the pressure and Glennon is starting at some point this year

At this point I'd rather have Glennon get most of the games to see if he can be the QB of the future. Clearly Freeman isn't, and if Glennon isn't they need to start thinking about options for next year.

I hate to say this, but I'm kind of hoping they lose every game this year so that we can draft Clowney.
Defense is what wins games in Tampa Bay.
I swear i read he was out for the season because of the staph infection stuff, but i can't find it and he actually hasn't been ruled out for week 1, but it appears he will be out for a couple of weeks
My Bucs outlook is definitely looking a bit more negative for 2013.
Its all gonna come down to the qb position, they were only a few plays from making the playoffs last year with a historically bad pass defense and they hopefully fixed that, they got some depth for the d line and still have some really good young line backers. On offense they are pretty much the same as last year which was pretty good even with a banged up o line, so if freeman can keep from making dumb mistakes then they still could be a playoff team. We will just have to see
Im really pretty crushed after today, i didn't even really need the bucs to be that good this year, but they had to beat the Fuckin jets, and Im not even mad at levonte, it should have been a Fuckin blow out.
