I've heard this floated, but ARod doesn't want to follow in his footsteps and then be criticized if he can't win it all like Brady did.

Yeah I think this is also why he won't join a team like Pittsburgh. He's an ego maniac, he wants to be the savior of a team like the Colts and not the replacement guy.

If Brady leaves, stopgap veteran? What do you do with Kyle Trask? He's definitely not ready, will he ever be?

Trask will stay if Arians stays, I guess he likes him as a project, but yeah he's not ready. Some kind of veteran, I guess. Although I don't know who.

The one thing about Brady staying or leaving is that he seems to have a sense of loyalty to the guys he won it all with last year, getting some of them to re-sign, etc. I feel like he isn't the kind of dude that would just abandon that now. He knows Trask is a project and one more year under him could set the Bucs up decently for the future, and he said how much he loves playing with Mike Evans. I know there are rumors and he isn't being straightforward, but I also feel like he needs a farewell season. And I don't see them falling off so much that they don't make the playoffs next year. The NFC South is pretty bad outside of the Bucs.

Yeah this makes sense to me. I feel like Brady is the type of guy who's last season will be one where he declares "this is my last season."

If this is true, maybe there's a better chance he ends up in Miami than I thought.

Also, Mickey I agree with what you said about Godwin earlier in this thread. He could come back with Brady for a year, pad some stats, maybe get another ring, then get the huge deal with a shitty team next year.

Assume that Brady & Gronk are done.

Regardless of likelihood, are all these QBs available?

Rodgers
Wilson
Ryan
Watson
Dalton
Mayfield
Bridgewater
Darnold
Hurts
Minshew
Garoppolo
Cousins
Foles
Winston
Newton
Fitzpatrick
Flacco
Jones

Cousins and Mayfield, probably staying put.
Watson probably will be suspended for a while
Winston also probably staying put
Newton, Fitzpatrick, and Flacco will all probably retire.

That doesn't really leave anyone worth a damn. As far as the Bucs, I mean. I doubt Rodgers or Wilson would end up in Tampa.

I could see Fitzpatrick giving it a whirl. He deserves one last hurrah with a good supporting cast.

If the Vikings take Rodgers Cousins is on the move, but I think that's unlikely.

So Matty Ice, Jimmy G., or Kapernick.

Only time vs. Tom will tell.

Lol I just saw a commercial for Groupon featuring Gronk where he says “I didn’t make it to the Big Game this year so I’m throwing a party at my house.”

“Didn’t make it to the Big Game”

You guys think this commercial was filmed in the last 3 days or nah?

I'm guessing they filmed two versions of the commercial. "Looks like I'm going to the big game again, so I'm throwing a big party at my house, even though I won't be there!"
