Right. If Kubiak wasn't available in 2015 it's likely they would have hired Joseph back then.Orpheus wrote:It's not really about what he did Miami. He was great as a defensive assistant for the Texans and Bengals over the last half-dozen years. The Bengals in particular got amazing seasons out of guys like Terence Newman and Adam Jones while he was there. He also worked with Wade in Houston when they had a complete defensive 180. Apparently this us not a surprise around the league at all.4/5 wrote:I don't understand the appeal of Vance Joseph at all. I'm genuinely perplexed by it.

They seem to really like the DB coach Joe Woods to promote from within. Boy, I hope they're right on this.doug rr wrote:hmmm

There's too much talent on the team, especially on the defensive side, for this to be a rebuild. The Broncos got a bit unluckier than they did in 2015, and while I can't speak yet for the Chiefs, the Raiders got really lucky in 2016 until Carr went down. I certainly expect Denver to be a contender in 2017.durdencommatyler wrote:How are you guys feeling about the off-season and next season? Obviously, as a Chiefs fan, I think Wade leaving is good news. I don't want to deal with that guy twice a year. But I'm not sure these coaching changes equate to meltdown. There's still a ton of talent and leadership still in Denver.

Decent. They may very well add a veteran QB, but I fully expect both Siemian and Lynch to be on the team in 2017.Orpheus wrote:What are the chances they give Lynch an offseason to prove he's the guy and roll with him?

Yeah this situation is irritating. He could possibly help the Broncos
