The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
i don't think the bengals will beat the chiefs twice. i've been wrong before.
even if the bengals did, and the rams beat the 9ers, the rams front four would absolutely punish burrow...and i love joey burrow, but that o-line is garbage.

He made plays, too. Some of what he did was stuff only few can do but I'm the second half is was a combo of weird play calling and Pat making bad decisions. That hurts to say but here we are...
Hey epilogue, do they need more OL help? Seems like every pass play in the second half, mahomes was being chased around.
I honestly don't think so.
As much as it hurts to say I really think Mahomes was the issue. He tried to do too much.
I think the standard TV broadcast view does good secondary play a disservice. I'm guessing it was a combination of excellent coverage and the fear of making a mistake with the lead that lead to his mediocre second half.

100% with you about the TV broadcast. And the Bengals clearly changed up the scheme in the 2nd half, so credit to them. Not trying to take that away from them at all. That interception in OT was just fantastic defense.
But something happened inside Pat, too. The offensive play calling was dogshit most of the second half, but I think Pat just got in his own way. It really looked to me like a player who wanted to muscle a win. Like he bought into the "grim reaper" narrative too much. I don't know. He seemed to want to be "magic" again rather than just play sound football and take what the defense gave like he did in the first half. To me it was less far of a mistake and more "I need to be the hero."
Went to Arrowhead for the Chiefs v Titans game this past Sunday. It's the first game I've been to at Arrowhead since 2017, when Alex Smith was still the starting QB. First time seeing Mahomes live in person.
There is absolutely no better place in the world to watch an NFL game than Arrowhead. The atmosphere is electric. Always has been. My voice still hasn't recovered.
