The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Well this Michigan Ohio State game is already basically over
Go on...
It sucks. I was hoping there would be a chance for a different outcome this year but same old shit I guess.
Because Michigan poached a coach during the same week that the team was ranked #3 and they ended up losing, I'll always hold a special place for hate in my heart for them.

I had a lot of fun watching the Gophers beat Wisconsin today. I have three kids, none of which had been born the last time MN held Paul Bunyan’s Axe. The win also made them bowl eligible. Maybe we’re finally seeing some promise under P.J. Fleck.

I think Ohio State's gonna jump over OU and land in the 4th spot.
I despise Ohio State, but OU's defense is utter garbage. I just don't know how anybody could watch that defense and think they deserve a spot in the playoffs.
I also think OU-Texas is gonna be close, while Ohio State's probably gonna blowout Northwestern.
electro - break down this sec championship matchup for me
From Georgia's side, they're kind of Alabama's little brother, last year they had the better shot really as they had more seasoned talent across the board on defense. Georgia still has a fairly stout when they are healthy Offensive Line and a stable of good running backs and very competent WR and TE talent. Deandre Swift looks like he's rounding into top form again and Holyfield seems to truely enjoy contact and he runs with a lot of power. Very good for the most part at QB. Jake Fromm's worst game (along with Kirby Smart) was very likely the LSU game, where the game plan wasn't very good and the execution/ in game decisions were worse. It seems like they woke up since then and became a more focused football team. They're a very good, ball club playing their best football. They want to run and are quite satisfied with grinding on teams with the running game if they can do it, but at a times (see the LSU tape) they inexplicably go away from that. Generally, I think they are a more comfortable team playing with a lead and trying to come back gets them off schedule, I think the offense works much better if they stick to the run and play action rather than coming from a situation where the defense knows they have to pass.
I'm not sure this team is ready to hang with Tua's Alabama. Defensively they have some talent, Deandre Baker is a stud at CB and they have become better rushing the passer in recent weeks. They are much weaker this year at linebacker than they were last January with Roquan Smith matriculating to the Chicago Bears. I imagine they will play zone for the most part and rush with mostly the 4 down linemen and an occasional LB or Baker to try and protect against big pays, the opposing corner to Baker has been abused this year at times and that's likely to continue, I'm hoping they tackle well but I think Alabama's run game and passing game with Tua will eventually outclass a very good Georgia team.
I imagine Alabama wins fairly comfortably, by 20 or so.
I like to use this metric. Mizzou played both teams. The Tigers were a few bad breaks away from giving Georgia a real game (a fumble that should have been prevented by forward progress being called, a fumble not called due to the lack of camera angles, and various other reasons). The Tigers had no shot to beat Alabama.
