he sounds like a big dolt every time he opens his mouth. there’s no way he could ever succeed if he actually had to build a program rather than riding someone else’s coattails.
my wife, who is not a huge sports fan, looked at the tv during his post game interview, and said, I don’t like the looks of that guy. Something seems wrong with him…evil.
i mean, maybe. so much in CFB is prestige, based on past accomplishments and the inner workings behind those accomplishments.
Weird comment to make immediately after the CFP brings in an AAC team and they get absolutely fucking demolished while the Big 10 champ eats shit again. There's obviously bias towards power five conferences, towards the SEC in particular, and towards schools like Alabama such that success begets (at least more opportunities for) success, but it's hard to make a case that anyone else should be there after yesterday's results.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing with me?
I'm saying I think Georgia and Alabama more or less earned it, and the always present "maybe" factor in a four team subjectively ranked playoff is more reduced than in previous years.

I don’t like rematches in college to decide a playoff or championship game but as a Georgia native it worked out this year. But a bigger complaint is why is the title game played on a Monday? That’s dumber than Super Bowl Sunday. And to answer an earlier post of mine yes, the championship site is now bid on like a Super Bowl. The next two are in Miami/Ft Lauderdale and Las Vegas.

NFL owns Sunday nights and Saturday was too quick of a turnaround. Monday is a great ratings night, too.

the semi-finals outdrew the national championship game last year.

Two games were on a holiday with more fanbases involved. That's not a surprising number.

a Monday night game on Espn that hits halftime at 10:30 on the east coast is not a good recipe for high viewership. it should be tonight.

Too quick? Feels like forever ago Michigan got beat by like a million points.

Anything good on tonight? Honestly I am not as excited about the game I thought I would be. It almost has a regular season feel. We’ll see if that has changed by kickoff.
