Thanks for this thread, tree. Sent me down a rabbit hole that led me to a Jimmy Chin doc called Meru, which in turn made me want to pick up the phone and talk to my brother-in-law about climbing. He’s taking me to a rock gym next week.  You watch Meru? Good soundtrack, including some Into The Wild tracks. |

I had to stop because I started watching videos of people actually falling... and dying... You watch Meru? Good soundtrack, including some Into The Wild tracks. That's cool.. just don't get hooked on the thrill. It can rewire your brain so that it's the only thing that thrills you anymore and next thing you know you're dead. |

What other free soloings are there? I know there's at least free soiling where people walk wires or ropes or whatever . What else? |

I think I read about buildering, which is like bouldering but with buildings. Honnold has done some of that. |
