I ordered a Greenville Drive hat that arrived today and it is pretty sharp. My 3-year-old stole it immediately.

That locker room celebration last night was the mark of a team that won’t be winning the next round

Dear Fox:

If you decide to:
--a) place your postgame show outside Fenway, a show that:
--b) has Alex Rodriguez as one of its panelists

then you have to accept that the fans behind you are going to chant Fuck You A-Rod and Fuck The Yankees. Instead of muting huge segments of the show, just roll with the broadcast that you got yourself into.

If you were a dork (like me!) and didn't play baseball as a kid, and you were a Red Sox fan, Jerry Remy basically taught you everything you know about baseball. I still hear (and will hopefully always hear) his gruff voice explaining the ins and outs of hitting, fielding, and why pitchers were overhyped drama queens with fragile egos. His banter and friendship with Don Orsillo was like 50% of the reason I would sit my ass in front of a TV on Friday nights to watch a 3-hour baseball game--and that stretched from when I was in high school, through college, all the way to when I was a dad. This season, his last season, was the first time my daughter started to get interested in the game and ask about the rules, the players, the teams, and everything else. I'll watch Red Sox games forever and ever with my kids, and it's suddenly sad to think that they won't have Remdawg there to explain the rules to them. It'll never be the same.
