You sound like hypebeast Michaels. Who apparently thinks a regular season opener between two teams who won't contend is one for the history books.

And the trifecta of division rivals taking over the crowd is complete.

assuming he's not out for a prolonged period of time, this rodgers injury could be beneficial. forcing him and mccarthy to go to a quick pass attack was clearly more effective in the second half against chicago's formidable pass rush. more of that this season would be great, and also a good way to keep an aging qb on the field. rodgers will still have his chance to make plays while moving, but that shouldn't be the default approach. one of the few knocks i've had with him for a few years now.

i see this more as a 'he went to the locker room injured, and they gave him a bunch of drugs, and then he came out drugged up and loaded with adrenaline' situation

so as long as they keep the drugs and adrenaline going, the packers have a lot to look forward to this year

Nobody ever talks about the Dolphins. Weird. Longest game in NFL history and Tannehill looked good. Gore looked good and he's 36. A lot of interesting story lines about the Dolphins but they never talk about them. It's confusing.

I was more referring to media. If you watched them play yesterday, you'd see why they are relevant.

A 6 win season isn’t relevant.

I remember when analysts would discuss the highlights of every game, every team. Now the highlights from NFL.com have no commentary track. I want me some Berman.

yes nothing quite as compelling as a seven-hour contest between five win teams

Pouncy was irrelevant cause he was injured all the time. He couldn't even practice cause he was nursing his hip. Landry is very overrated. Most of his production was via play design. Amendola and/or Wilson will easily take his place in the slot and Wilson can stretch the field unlike Landry. Suh wasn't worth the salary and was a poor leader. Gase has the team he wants. This is a very underrated roster, you'll see.
