KC’s young team reminds me of the ‘17 Astros, and just like the Astros took down the hated Yankees that year, the Chiefs could pull past the Belichick Pats and win it all. I like it.
However, that Yankees team was young too, so the comparisons end when we’re talking about Brady. :/
This presupposes the Astros were the plucky young guys and the Yankees were the time tested winners when the Astros had more success in recent seasons comparably.
The Yankees probably haven’t been the “hated” Yankees since probably 2008? 2005?
I just assumed the Yankees are and were always hated?
But yeah, I get you.
Maybe this game is more like coming back in WS game 5 after taking another beating from Kershaw. Work with me here. (I’m trying to weave a narrative in favor of the lovable and resilient Chiefs.)

This game came down to a freaking coin flip. NFL OT is so dumb.
Remember how you said the Saints had other opportunities to win the game and can't blame the missed call? Seems the Chiefs had plenty of opportunities to win as well so we shouldn't complain about the coin flip and OT rules by your logic.
