Interested to see the terms but The Bears defense looks a lot scarier with Mack and Smith and the Raiders are basically mailing in the last year in Oakland.
But there are two more years in Oakland

They don't have a lease yet for the Coliseum in 2019, and Oakland hasn't seem very interested in keeping them when they're not contractually obligated to.

with a price tag like that, there is little chance he can do anything other than fail to live up to expectations
Gruden inherited someone else's club. he's gotta do some work to turn things over. sometimes the first step is not bankrupting the team's future for a not-actually-transcendent player that costs a lot. yes he got lots of sacks. yes the right first round pick at the same position could still do you pretty good though and at 1/140th of the cost. bummer for the raiders about M. Bryant. if this is weed, NFL really needs to get with the times. it's basically legal in 25 states now, even for minors. just ask thip and trag

Trade looks pretty good for both teams potentially long term it’s pretty even, but the Raiders lost one of the top defensive players in the league. I doubt they find away to find a player like that again.
Not sure I agree with the amount on that extension, but I guess we’ll see. Feels like two steps forward and one back. He’s going to have to be absurdly good.

remember when Jerry Jones was all bitter after than NFL draft too that he didn't trade up to get Lynch? He was like 'I should have overpaid, you always have to overpay for QB' and then DAL drafted Dak instead.
hilarious

i'm pumped to watch an nfl game tonight. This is the first year I'm not strictly into MommaDallphins foozball. I'm understanding more about the nooks and cranvinces of the game and am into paying attention to any/all teams. Even college, first time. Pumped i'm into it pumped up ya. Gonna have a few beers and holdl mah babay in my lap and enjoy the game. Good.

The most wonderful time of year. Ever hopeful that this year will finally be the year of the Vikings - knowing full well there is only heartbreak at the end of the tunnel.
Though, air has cooled, leaves are changing, hibernation season is upon us, and with that......let the good times skol.
We're starting off without our starting Center so we have that going for ourselves. i think its going to take a few weeks to get going and the offense on the same page. We have an absurdly tough schedule this year, which, if we do well, will bode well for us in the long run.

Sorry, but tannehill won't last the season
why not? he's fully recovered from his acl tear ... adrian peterson came back to rush over 2000 yards in his first season after having recovered from his acl tear... .. jus one example.. also tannehill's offensive line is the best it's ever been.. he'll last the season and be great you'll see and i'll say told you so
