The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
But my criticism of Matthews stands. He's terrible at everything but rushing the passer and he's not "great" at that.
Yeah he's not cerebral or anything; he's just a spaz on the field that tears shit up sometimes if he happens to be running around near the ball. I always hoped he'd add the mental to the physical and become truly great, but here we are.
The Rules protecting QBs have ruined defensive football forever. You can’t rate anyone in this generation higher than previous generations because they don’t play the same game. Just give them flags and make it fair.

It's the Falcons turn to have a season snake bit by injuries. Tough conference that doesn't care and in a tough division to boot. Calvin Ridley appears to be worthy of that first round pick though.
I'm not sure this idea is so crazy. They have to do something.
If they are in the pocket, pull a flag and they are down.
Once they leave the pocket, they live by the same rules as everyone else.
This is a great idea but "the pocket" is going to be a difficult thing for defenders who suffer from CTE to identify. It would lead to a lot of do i yank the flag or crush this guy type confusion.
