This game came down to a freaking coin flip. NFL OT is so dumb.
Remember how you said the Saints had other opportunities to win the game and can't blame the missed call? Seems the Chiefs had plenty of opportunities to win as well so we shouldn't complain about the coin flip and OT rules by your logic.
They absolutely did and I have no problem with the Pats winning this game. But it doesn't change the fact the OT rules are dumb and have been dumb for years.

Your solution?
There's lots of directions one could take it. You have to give each team the ball at least once though.
Probably a tweak of the rule now but just give the other team a chance to score. If they can't match then the game ends. Only use it in the playoffs if you're concerned about players safety/game length during the regular season.
