The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The Chargers are the most snakebit team I have ever seen. Every year they lose a ton of guys, which is especially bad now that they actually have a lot of really good players for the first time in a few years. It's brutal.
Yep. If that injury monster rears it's ugly head and so much as glances toward Keenan Allen again, their season is over.

If the Dolphins stay mostly clear of the injury bug they will surprise a lot of people this year.
I think you could say that about almost every team in the league, though.
This is true. But the Dolphins in 2016 have proven they can be successful when healthy under head coach Adam Gase, in his first year, which started off poorly but ended with a very strong run. 2017 was doomed from the beginning with hurricane and insane travel schedule and crazy injuries, and a Cutler cherry on top. Also, because of such a shitty year, 2018's schedule is weak. Don't underestimate Tannehill.

NFL teams will set will their own rules regarding players who want to kneel during the National Anthem, NFL team owners decided Wednesday in Atlanta. There will also be an option for players to remain in the locker room while the anthem is played. Instead of a league-wide rule, it will be up to each team to decide whether there would be discipline for a player protesting during the National Anthem. Should a player protest on the sideline, the NFL can fine a team, but not the player. Previously, there had been no rule that prevented players from protesting.
The first headline I read was basically, "NFL will fine players who kneel for the anthem." And I was so pissed. I was about to post about how I was totally done with the NFL.
Good lesson in why it's important to read more than a headline. While I don't love these new rules, they are far better and more forgiving than what that headline implied. I'm glad there's an option for players to stay off the field as a way to protest.
I think all of this is completely stupid, don't get me wrong. But it could've been worse.

I got worried as well and thought I might have to do some soul searching and giving up supporting the NFL. But i just dont think I could when the Vikings are so close!
Really says a lot about the owners that they can't handle players taking a knee. Going this far to deal with it is pretty damn sad. Cowardly is is more accurate.

Just stop playing the anthem at sports events altogether.
Fucking BINGO!

It just sucks that I've wanted a legit franchise QB my entire life. Now that the Mahomes era is about to begin and likelihood of that dream coming true is so fucking high... of course, I'm losing all respect and interest in this stupid fucking sport. OF COURSE.
