at least we don't have to go through a whole offseason of speculation now about the redskins tagging / not tagging / tea bagging him
if there are any teams out there that are interested in foregoing passes to wide open deep receivers in favor of throwing to your tight end, and you have $28 million per year to spend, Cousins is now yours for the taking

I'm so glad I switched favorite teams after the 99 season. Washington is such a joke of a franchise.
Yes, I switched to a team in the division, but so did, Brian Mitchell, David Akers, James Thrash, and N.D. Kalu. That, and I followed McNabb through College so it was a pretty easy switch.

I cut all ties with my local football team last season. I have no team now.
Why?
I don’t like the way the front office runs the team and it’s hard to cheer for something that hasn’t produced a franchise QB since its first season. Watson be damned.
Also, the owner of my bar insisted on being open for Christmas day because the Texans were playing. I went in to work and had to beg and plead some of the staff to come in to work too. Nobody showed up to watch the game and then they lost. Last straw.

What the fuck are the Redskins thinking in giving away Kendall Fuller in this trade? Trading for Smith for just a 3rd and then extending him for $23.5 million per year may have been barely defensible. But this? Ugh, I don't like this trade for the rest of the AFC, but clearly Joey should--I offer a difficult congrats to you, friend.
Well, the person that owns the Skins isn’t very savvy (at least in terms of building a winning organization), so extending a 33 year old QB that at best is just above average seems better than paying a guy who has played really well for them for 3 strait years because they don’t want to pay him the going rate.
It’s classic Dan Snyder. Who’s right vs, what may be best for the team.
Its better than a rookie no doubt, it could work, I doubt he’s better than Cousins and the money is the going rate anyway.

Thank you, friend. And that's exactly where I'm at. It sucks to see him go. But he took us far as I believe he ever could. And I can't believe we got that haul for him. I wish him all the best in Washington. I'm sad but I'm also excited for the Mahomes era to officially begin.

I’ve got Arizona, Buffalo, Cleveland and New York as possible destinations, what do you think?
Jacksonville or Denver
I really wouldn't be surprised if Bortles remains the starter in Jacksonville. I'm not saying I agree that he should, only that it wouldn't surprise me.
