Bammer, you should give the Bregman episode of Collin McHugh’s podcast a listen.

Can you please summarize it for me?

McHugh is a great host regardless of guest, and as an insider he can get players to talk candidly about life on and off the field. It’s not a super baseball-y podcast, but of course he gets into that too.

Bregman rises to McHugh’s maturity level in this episode and it’s actually a really good conversation. You get the sense that Bregman is a super disciplined guy and is just being a young player having fun and enjoying the fruits of his success thus far.

(He does say “100%” too much in this thing though. After about the fifteenth time you start to really cringe. Otherwise, all good.)

Meh. Sounds like a tool. And that grand slam Altuve just hit was luck.

Forgot you were a Mariners fan, bammer. I’ve always liked Jay Bruce.

Yeah yeah. Gurriel’s grand slam was luck, too.

Prior to tonight’s result, my CBS Sports app now has the M’s playoff chances projected at 53.7%.

About a week ago it was 7.1%.

This offense is on fire. I can literally turn on the tv, see that they are behind, walk the dog, come back to a winning score and not be surprised in the least.

They're like the 2018 Red Sox.

You can be an Astros fan, obviously. Have fun with it. But seriously, stop liking Bregman. Fkn tool.

No chance, bammer. I stood at Minute Maid and waited patiently for a hit during his first MLB at-bat, and then the next one, and the next one, and the next one. He went hitless that game and would end up going 0-17 before he finally got one, and then he never looked back. He’s a fun guy to watch and I’ll bet anyone in that dugout would tell you he’s a fun teammate to have.

That being said, I can definitely see his persona translating poorly to fans around the league. He’s not a Votto level troll but he’s getting there.

I know Chris Sale for sure could do without him.

Chris Davis's hit at Fenway yesterday re-calibrated a lot of the baseball juju around the league.
