I have a 'Mega Cure Mix' that starts with 10:15 on a Saturday Night and the driving drums get me in the good spot every time.

10:15 Saturday Night (Three Imaginary Boys, 1979) - some excellent guitar here
Three Imaginary Boys (Three Imaginary Boys, 1979) - this is good, a real gem, perfect mood setter, guitar and everything
Shiver and Shake (Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, 1987) - has an early 80s sound, very frantic
A Thousand Hours (Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, 1987) - a bit boring

Three Imaginary Boys get my vote.

Wow, really!

A Thousand Hours is killer.

It's all so lilting and beautiful, then Robert comes in with, "For how much longer can I howl into this wind!"

Fucking love it.

I thought Three Imaginary Boys was a top five song out of all these matches. Surprised it doesn't have more votes.

I think I'm biased against their first album

I think I'm biased against Disintegration.

This is a tough choice, I like three of these a lot and one not very much (A Thousand Hours).

Three Imaginary Boys, I think.

Nah, 10:15 Saturday Night.

YOu must have changed your vote.

S and S for me. The crash cymbal really grates on the Three Imaginary Boys album.
