The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

sure, but also the park is so popular that the only way Disney has found to keep crowds manageable is to raise the prices. I think their supply/demand curve is finally past it's cross point.

yeah that's one's like $1400 a person for three days. It's 100% immersive though so you're never outside of Star Wars, but you're also never inside of Disney.

whats so expensive about it? Its in the same Hollywood studios park right?
They designed it to be prohibitively expensive. Iger is on record saying as much.
It’ll do gang busters but joe public hasn’t a hope.
Look up the Star Wars hotel. It’s so expensive it will make your eyes bleed
but whats so expensive? the rides and park is free inside Hollywood Studios right? You pay for that entrance right?
Im talking just the park not the hotel bullshit
They raised the ticket prices twice in the last year. Dime's correct in that Disney announced they raised prices in an effort to keep attendance manageable.
That said, Mrs Wease scored a reservation at Oga's Cantina for when she and the oldest go down there next week. She was on a waiting list for a couple of months.

I'd say it was a big success cause the park was dead when I went there. They may have overplayed their hand.

According to Mrs Wease, it only really has one ride and the one restaurant. The rest of it is activities you have to pay extra for like the build a lightsaber thing.
Just got back from Galaxy's Edge in Orlando. Freaking amazing.
I rode the Smuggler's Ride, twice. They built the Falcon and you get plenty of time to take pics / video of you inside of it. Every detail is awesome, including that you can sit at the chess table that chewy plays at. My photos look like I was on the real ship w/ chewy.
Took some selfies w/ Kylo Ren, Bobba Fett, Storm Troopers, who walked around the park talking to the crowds.
Bought an awesome Protect the Galaxy Join the First Order hoodie "unit 709" that is only available at the park. The Diet Coke cans look like thermal detonators, so I took one home for fun - to my surprise, it passed TSA Security.
Met R2D2 - when I squatted down and patted his head, it moved to look at me and my wife got a great shot of that.
And, finally, as promised, I screamed "Dime" in the Falcon cockpit before takeoff, so your presence is there my friend.
More to come....left the day the rise of the resistance opened, but still an incredible experience - almost bought a $200 light saber but held back.
that sounds awesome....im sure the new ride is going to be mind blowing....i heard about those coke cans seems like you had luck because people couldnt pass them on airports.
