When i tried watching it at home it fell a bit flat.

Yea, i get that is how storytelling works but holy shit Its so goddamn convenient. Every single bit of dialogue and every single scene.
It feels so...amateurish? And almost a slap in the face with no respect for the intelligence of the audience.
Ugh. I am such a loyal fan with damn near everything in my life but i just can't get on board with this one.
While I love The Last Jedi, i now kind of wish Lucas wrote the story for this sequel trilogy and then left the screenplay and directing to someone else.
