I posted a very good video by one of my favorite YouTubers specifically to bring you and I together. I will not summarize 25 minutes into a TL;DR. It's crucial for our friendship that you watch that video, Joey!

Ugh!
Part of me wants to give you hard time and say that if you really wanted to be friends you'd know that I hate YouTube videos and that I never watch them. But I appreciate the gesture and I don't want to screw this up out of the gate.
I don't know when on earth I'll have time to watch it. But when I find the time, I'll let you know. And I will watch it. But it's gonna be a minute.
Okay, so I watched the video, B. What parts moved you to post it? What spoke to you? What did you want to discuss about it?
Ah, you really want to talk about it? Now I have to go back and watch it again. It just made me hate TROS less.
Well nevermind then. I'm glad you hate TROS less. That's all that matters. We really don't have to talk about it. I just thought that's what you wanted.

It brought me to forgive what I considered weak story telling in TROS, when you look at all of Star Wars as a sci fi serial collection that sometimes connects and sometimes doesn't. I'm not sure why I had to have everything fit between TLJ and TROS, but don't feel the same need for OB1 to fit with ANH.

And by the way, Mikey Neumann is such a good YouTuber. He always builds stuff up, and is never negative. His library will make you rediscover some really ridiculous, lame, or boring films in a new way as treasure.
Patrick (H) Willems is great for exactly the same reason.

Accepting that parts 7-8-9 don't make any logical sense because they're part of a larger, vaguely serialized property is the epitome of the tail wagging the bantha.
