The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I hate force babies so much. Way more than I hate midicholirans. Joey's idea is an interesting way to go IF you have to go in that direction, but I'd honestly rather her just be a clone.
Or no one, which was the most thematically powerful answer to begin with
My theory maintains "no one" AND ties up and reinforces older ideas that didn't make a lot of sense, given them more weight in story and helping rework them into the larger narrative in a satisfying way. AND helps kill all the Mary Sue fans dumbness.
But I could get on board with a Clone thing, too. I don't hate that on paper. Like all of this... it comes down to execution. That too could tie some stuff up and call back to older themes/ideas.

Well the other thing could be Palpatine is in her or guiding her somehow. ‘Something inside me has always been there now it’s awake’
I hope it’s not that. Give her parents sure. Make sure they’re nobody of any big lineage Kenobi or Skywalker. But tell why they had to leave her most importantly.
Do you think we’ll see her reuiniting with them? How are the parents back involved if it isn’t that? How does she find out? I wonder
What if Palpatine isn't in the movie as a living character at all but only as a holo-recording like Leia in ANH? And while deep-sea diving in the Death Star wreckage, Rey finds a message/correspondence where Palpatine explains "who Rey is" and all of that? And that's how all the backstory/secrets are revealed.
Then she takes what she's learned to Force Ghost Luke and he explains stuff further in a scene very reminiscent of the one in RotJ between Luke and Obi-Wan.

You’ve touched on something that has been bothering me.
The Death Star wreckage is obviously a thing.
But there was loads of early concept art for it in the art of TFA book. Particularly the throne room. Rey takes the millennium falcon under water to go to it and get something.
It’s kind of odd it’s being brought in here.
I’ll have to read those pages again n see what was being proposed

Just that we sorta have that already. I know names and ideas and concepts get recycled all the time in Star Wars production but it’s just odd. I dunno.

you speaking strictly about the early concept art? Because most people, including me, dont really "already have that"

Ok I just looked and there’s only a couple of paintings. One of the falcon underwater and you can see the emperors tower on its side and another of Rey swimming by the throne and big window. It was part of the story for TFA but it doesnt day how.
I just also found the concept art of force ghost Anakin / Vader and now I want that to happen
