The end has never been used in Star Wars. Although this might be the time

that was good.

Blowing up chewie and the falcon would be devastating. the only reason I think they won't is that those two (plus R2) are the only OT touchstones they can keep bringing back if they continue with these characters.

I hope the entire cast is a force ghost by the end of this. And the audience.

He can’t be a force ghost.

He can be in a flashback however

Damn I’d be up for that too

Split it into two. Part one all that backstory stuff JJ set up with no explanation addressed.

Part two the continuation of TLJ

Fuck I’m gonna be upset if it doesn’t go down like that now

Do you really want a movie that is half flashbacks? That sounds awful.

Not if the way I describe it goes down.
We can see reys story / parents/ how they left her there.
We can see Luke and Ben. And Snoke warping him.
We can see Leia trying to warn the new republic about the first order.

What’s not to love

I dont think he is hinting anything, he has been vocal about how poorly handed Han, Luke and Leia were in this movies. I agree with him.

And then the second film picks up where TLJ left off.

We already know all of this stuff happened. Why do we need to see it as well? Don't you want this to explore new territory?

Disagree about Luke being handled poorly. Agree about Han though. We'll see what they do with Leia/Carrie in this one.

He never said that. Ever. I challenge you to find that quote.

He has said he’s sad he’ll never get to work with Harrison Ford again.

Totally not the same thing

less is more.

The OT had flashbacks. It was called the PT and they mostly suck.

how the clone wars happened in PT was meh
how Palpatine influenced Anakin was meh

Now you want flashbacks for mundane, mediocre ST characters? Snoke is boring to begin with. Whatever they could conjure up for Rey will cause displeasure within the community.

Less is more. If I could go back in time I'd shred Lucas' legal pads with the script for Episode 1 and tell him for the sake of the future, don't continue.
