So a bunch of idiot teddy bears mistake some bright yellow, lying, tin can for a god and I'm supposed to think that's important and meaningful? What is this, the 2016 US Presidential election? |

It's a central plot for the whole movie. In-story it also helps the crew bond with the natives, which then helps them (with massive help from Luke and Anakin) beat the empire. |

Here's the thing, though. If you remove that "plot" from the movie.... it's the same movie with the same outcome. So, yeah, fine he tricked some idiot bears into being a relevant plot point. |

Joey, by the time you catch up on season three of Rebels, you'll be saying Chopper is the best. Anders has no hope though, with that junk about C3PO |
