THats been a problem overall with most of the new canon books. Rather bland forgettable stories but with 1 or 2 tiny nuggets of gold in each. There are several notable exceptions and excellent books but they’re in the minority.

This really is sounding way bigger than some anthology. Maybe it's a cross-media story project, or maybe it's a rapid release novel series (a la The New Jedi Order series).
They've put their top and most prolific creators on this, meaning that they've been taken away from other projects. That says to me that Project Luminous is going to be THE dominant publishing push of next year, throughout the year. And it's likely what we're going to be talking about instead of a movie.
From Charles Soules website What is Star Wars Project Luminous?
Finally picked up the first trade collection of the Vader run (#1-12, think). It's awesome. Deserves all the hype and I'm only through the first 3 issues.

I'm hoping this runs miles to bridge my misgivings about Vader. So far, so good. But every few panels I just have to chuckle to myself looking at the guy.
You guys every notice how in Empire during the "I am your father" bit... the wind actually blows his helmet up? For a few frames it looks like it might blow off. It's hilarious. I lose it every time.

Is this the first or second series?

The second one? The one written by Charles Seole that starts seconds after ROTS. The part I just read is when he goes to that planet to hunt down the Jedi who took the Barash vow.

Ok. Yeah. It ties in much more with current movies, tv shows, etc... than the first series. Enjoy.
