I'm almost finished with this novel. I thought it was supposed to be good, but it's pretty lame.

It opens with Plagueis killing his master, so you get none of the story that makes him who he his. It's basically the rise of Palpatine with lots of discussion about how midoclorians work and lots of senate manipulations. All the least exciting parts of the most boring movies.

At the end, it even overlaps with The Phantom Menace, even with them using "phantom menace" to refer to themselves.

Ugh. Skip it.

Bloodline by Claudia Gray is great and connects the ROTJ period and FA period though Leia and the new republic and skeletons in the closet.

Dime's a maverick, B.

He's just gonna post his very next thought in whatever thread he's in. Don't discourage him. We need a wildcard around here.

They've just announced a Thrawn novel at celebration. He's the most bad ass sw character ever. Just finished the Thrawn trilogy. This will shut up all the EU fans whining
