A real shame if it never happens.

Wrong. Dime says an announcement is imminent.

I’d say the Fett cancellation non story just confirms Kenobi is coming.
How do you get everyone back on board and enagaged? It’s easy.
Doubt we’ll hear about it until celebration though.
I’ve all but given up hope though to be honest.

How many years have you said “they’ll announce at Celebration” now?

One. Last year.

I dont think that confirms or denies anything. If it were happening, of course Ewan would have to deny such a thing until any official announcement.

Guys, we need to help Dime with this.
We need to close this thread... Its so toxic for him...he is lying to us, lying to himself, stalking Ewan Mcgregor, lying to his family.

Its time to get serious about this RM. Dime needs us.

Once again, I'll caution anyone regarding anything movieweb posts. That site is utter bullshit. It's LITERALLY fake news.

But... I do still think the Obi-Wan thing will happen. But I now have doubts that it'll be a theatrical release. I think it'll be a streaming film or a limited series for the streaming service.

Celebration SEEMS like a good time to announce but I could also see them waiting a year or so or until they know how successful Disney Play (or whatever it's called) and/or The Mandalorian will be.

I’d probably be even happier with a Kenobi series than Hello there, a Star Wars story

I think a six to eight episode limited series would be bliss.

Yeah I’d be down for that. Way more room to move than a movie.

I still can't believe they were in production on a Mos Eisley movie that was allegedly further along than an OB1. That's stip bizarre.

That’s probably just blue sky designing and drawings and paintings if the other films are any guide. That’s usually first step. Often before scripts get locked even.

Ps notice that Lucas has been turning up a bit. And he toured the GOT studios in Belfast and a leak from the studio saying they were doing a Star Wars when GOT wraps up. Benioff amd Wise would know the facility in and out too.

I'd be all about Lucas directing an episode of any upcoming Star Wars TV series, by the way. I think that would be a lot of fun.

Even one episode would be fuckin awesome. But if he was doing a small series. Amazing.

I think it’s well possible. That facility knows what it’s doing. The infrastructure is there and the tax breaks.
There’s too many signs pointing to him doing something.
Plus as anyone will tell you there’s no other reason in the world for him to visit Belfast.
