I'm unclear (and this might be because no one in my house shuts the fuck up and lets me watch this shits) whether Reva knows who Luke is? Does she's know he's Anakin's son? Does she think he's Obi-Wan's son? Does she just think he's someone that Obi-Wan is protecting?

That being said, she was very efficient at going to a planet full of people with only the name "Owen."

I don’t think she knows exactly who he is. But I can’t remember what the message said that lead her there.

Although, what would be the point of her going after him if she didn’t know? I kept thinking while she was chasing him that this wouldn’t affect Vader at all since he doesn’t even know of the boy’s existence.

Well, I believe she wants to hurt Vader and Obi-Wan at this point, so I can see her going after him either way.

My read was she knew it was his son. Killing Luke would be her way of getting back at Anakin for killing the younglings.

Same.

But he didn’t even know Luke existed so how does that get back at him?

Don't ask me to justify the dumb stuff this show did.

The show looked inexpensive and did do dumb stuff but I was still somehow entertained. It might be just the nostalgia of seeing established characters back in action again.

Reva doesn’t know anything about luke or Leia.
Or any relationship to anakin or Vader.
All she knows from that message is organa is contacting Kenobi about presumably force sensitive children.

That’s all that’s happening there. You’ve all run off on a what if tangent there and it wouldn’t work. Even in a follow up series for her to let Vader know.
We know he doesn’t know anything about luke being his son until after a new hope. And Leia until ROTJ.
They won’t screw with that in any sense.

In other news this is a great point and that book really is a worthwhile read especially now

You need to re-read what we were talking about, my friend. No one is suggesting any of that.

Basically, some of us are not buying how Vader and Obi Wan let each other off the hook in their two battles.
I was looking for a more clever way to end the duels (without them killing each other of course).

If she doesn’t know, killing Luke makes less sense.

It does though. She’s a Jedi hunter. Including padewans

There were padewan helmets on shelves in the inquisitor fortress two episodes previous.

On display beside captured lightsabers.

They’re out to kill Jedi be they adult or kid that was pretty much shoved in your face and repeated especially about force sensitive children being taken

She just broke down ptsd and couldn’t do it. We just happen to know that kid is Luke.
She didn’t know that

This isn't related but I hope that the Celtics make a big trade tonight at the draft.

"If he's found you, if he's learned of the children...
I'll head to Tatooine.
Owen wi ...
Help the boy."

That's what she knows. It's from the closed captioning. She doesn't know it's Vader's kid. She MIGHT know their force sensitive. She DEFINITELY knows that Obi-Wan is protecting a boy on Tatooine.

Ok, I just rewatched the scene with captioning on. Here’s what he says that Reva hears:

“If he’s found you, If he’s learned of the children, I’ll head to Tatooine. Owen, help the boy.”

So dime may be right in that she’s just going to kill some Padawans, but I think she got over that part of herself when she confronted Vader and was beat down. She may not know for sure who the kids are, but she has an idea they’re important to him somehow.

To me, there's just no way that she doesn't put together that the boy on Tatooine is important to Vader. Whether she realizes it's his or not, doesn't really matter. But I think it could be cool if she does.

She fought Vader in the previous movie, out of hatred, because she used to be a youngling. And now she’s just back to her old job?

If she doesn't know who Luke is, what's her motivation for going to Tatooine? She seemed to be singularly focused on killing Vader and knows his true identity. Doesn't seem like a stretch for her to connect some dots.

And I wasn't paying close attention but doesn't she utter the word "revenge" at some point during that stretch of the finale?

I was watching an Easter Egg YouTube video and they pointed out how in the first chapter of Kenobi, Leia retrieves LOLA from her mother by hugging her. And then in Chapter Six, she give Obi-Wan LOLA by hugging him.

It's maybe shmaltzy and obvious but that made me happy.
