Vader was the MVP of the Kenobi series.

I can’t see a story where obi-wan and Vader meet again so it’s kind of pointless imho

I didn't really want a season 1, so a season 2 seems even stupider.

yeah, i dont really get the idea of loving this character and wanting more and more and more....S1 was merely ok and had some very embarrassing moments from Chow.

I wish they leave Obi Wan alone really, they kinda showed they dont have more stories to tell.

They should do a really dark season. Kind of in the Andor theme. Show obi wan isolated and struggling. Only interactions with shady characters.

That's what season one should've been. More than just him slicing meat.

Genuinely great listen with the two editors of kenobi. They get deep into it and they’re Star Wars fans, the guy especially (multiple Emmy award winner). They’re excited and loads of cool how they made it stuff.
On a podcast called the rough cut.

I was just thinking about that scene where Leia dislikes the other kid because he's mean to droids.

Then she grows up and is the Falcon when C3PO is freaking out, and she just reaches over and turns him off. That's gotta be a pretty big insult to a droid.

Rewatched this. I'm all for moving on and creating new Star Wars movies but honestly - I don't trust them to be able to fully commit to and write as emotionally impactful stories like o obi wan. There's such rich history with the character. I hope they do more

We always want more. I’d love if we got more Ewan. How though?

Honestly, I don't know why they keep dipping back into the timeframe of the Skywalker Saga. Fans just have too much baggage around that time frame, and it's too easy to poke little holes into everything.

They can tell whatever story they want in the High Republic Era or beyond Ep 9, and no one can ever complain that "this couldn't have happened" or "that guy never would have done that" or "if that happened, then all of ESB falls apart!"

well they do it because its what really sells.

But yeah i agree, leave this character alone and do something else. Obi Wan and Leia meeting was not something i needed really. And the series looked so cheap at times it really hurts my eyes.

Are you referring to the 45 second confrontation in episode 6? As opposed to the 5+ hours of turds?
