Speaking of backstories:) the new canon books have been mostly excellent. This will be fun reads

Coming April 17th, STAR WARS: LAST SHOT by Daniel Jose Older

Last Shot is a Han and Lando novel taking place over multiple time periods, including Post-Return of the Jedi, and between Solo and A New Hope. This epic story features Lando, Han, Leia, young Ben Solo, Sana Starros and many others.

That’s worrying to me. Lebowski is one of those films that I’m completely impervious to. I just can’t get into it. I have tried.

Meh. Such influences/conversations are only really meaningful to the Kasdans. I wouldn't worry about it.

Interesting to note Solo was in production before any of the new films. Before the sale to Disney even. Kasdan was writing Solo and pulled off for TFA.

Actually, that helps explain maybe a bit more why Lucas was on set and (perhaps) a bit more actively involved for it than he has been for the others.

Dime, is the guy in the mask featured in the trailers as the villian on top of the train and in the desert shoot out scene from the trailer Bobba Fett before he decides to wear the mandalorian armor?
