If the one complaint circles around the shallow character development of Han Solo than I'm down for this movie.
Yeah, that complaint didn't make it a bad movie for the reviewer, just leaving him wanting more. In the end, he thought it was enjoyable; average, not great.

I don’t think they even know what a movie is in Iowa. No idea when I’ll get to see this.
I saw the first showing of Rogue One in a small town in Nebraska. The theater was half full.
This will be the first Star Wars movie released in my lifetime that I won't see the first showing of.
Wow. That's kinda nuts.
I waited on TFA. Didn't see that until the second weekend of release. R1, I saw, I think right after opening weekend (Mon or Tues, I think?). TLJ I saw a midnight screening of on opening night.

The Phantom Menace was kind of a tough sell to my parents. I was only 13 at the time. My dad took me to the midnight showing.

Yeah, buddy. I saw a midnight screening of TPM and then saw it again around 1 the following afternoon. I also did a midnight screening of Attack of the Clones.
I didn't see Revenge of the Sith until at least a month into the release. I almost didn't see it in theaters at all. The screening I was at had like 12 people in the house.

I'm so glad theaters do 7 pm showings now the day before release instead of only at midnight.
It's just hard to get away from the kid to see movies in theaters. May have to go some evening after he goes to bed.

I'm with you there and I don't even have kids. I would have done the 7pm Thursday of TLJ if it hadn't sold out so fast. The first one I could grab was a midnight, and even that I had to refresh until somehow, somebody else dropped a pair that I could swoop in and take.
