It'd be weird to have a guy from Baltimore aboard the Millennium Falcon.

Woody Harrelsons father was one of the men 'dressed as railroad workers' that were or weren't arrested on the grassy knoll the day of JFKS assassination.
Mad.

You guys see Woody's comments about this having a great shot at being the best Star Wars movie so far? I do agree with him in that the directors and writers and cast are in place. This has the potential to be a much better movie that I had any hope it could ever be when they first announced it.

What else is he going to say, "This will be a bottom third Star Wars movie?"

Cant speak to the entire cast but those behind the camera?
Whole new range of vision and direction for Star Wars tempered and lead by the voice of Han himself Lawrence Kasdan.

What if this turns out to be the best Star Wars movie ever?

I mean it could well be lethal weapon 5 or a fast and the furious low hanging fruit buddy movie but it might be awesome

They should bring in Shane Black just to really amp this thing up.

That's exactly it. When it was first announced, I had zero interest. But then they added a good (and SUPER knowledgeable writing staff), good directors, and a SPECTACULAR cast. I still think there's a decent chance that this could be just a dumb popcorn movie. But there is enough here now that I'm finally open to the idea that it COULD be a great movie. It's entirely possible. Which is nuts to me. When I think back to the initial announcement, I was totally uninterested. But now here we are and I'm kind of excited.

I'm hoping to like it, at this remove, more than I like rogue one.

R1 *might* reveal itself fully to me in time, but Han is my favourite character (big challenge accepting the new one ahead) and the Falcon and Chewie and god knows what kinda story,
I'm open.

This will be more a shady v shady than Rebels v empire for sure

My heart genuinely goes out to the big Han fans here. This will be hardest on you guys. I hope it ends up exceeding your expectations.

If he does a totally different thing, and brings himself to it, I can probably buy it if it's an awesome movie and story.
If he brings himself but just has studied Han and has the body language down (eye rolls, inbuilt unspoken sarcasm via gestures, sardonic)
Even better.

He's actually the biggest challenge this film has. Well spotted DCT

yeah you said it. Still on the fence with this. Loved the character of Han Solo. I do like the castings so far.

Han Solo is a way better character than Luke. I'll be surprised if it's NOT the best Star Wars movie.
