Just listening to people talk about the prequels on podcasts and stuff, I already like it more because of this show. It's nuts how right it gets things that the movies got wrong. Nuts!
Another great scene I forgot about was the fight between the emporer and maul/Savage
It's one of the absolute best fights in the whole series. I tried to tell TVG about it. But he didn't care even though he claims to love Palpatine so goddamn much.

I'm gonna take my comment back. Just watched two episodes back to back that totally inform and enrich the prequels and in a great way.

Even though the emporer says he isn't going to kill maul and he has a use for him, we don't see him again in TCW, right?

Mn Watching the Yoda episodes of clone wars where he goes on his force vision quest. He has to go to an island. (Echo?) This is brilliant Star Wars stuff. 'In this island you must face your evil and you must defeat it'.

I believe that's correct, yes. The show was supposed to run for 7 seasons. He had an arc planned for what would have been S6 but it was never finished. So they told that story in the graphic novel: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir (which is one of the few pre-2014 Disney buy-out comics that's still canon).
There was also a lot more planned for Ahsoka that never got told. I imagine some of that is probably in her book, but I haven't read it yet.

Man, I love this show so much. I can't wait to watch the prequels again and see how much better they are thanks to The Clone Wars.
i havent tried to rewatch the prequels, but i assume clone wars will make me feel even worse about them since they did things so much better. Does listening to In My Tree make you enjoy Comatose more?

Fair point. Fair point.
But those songs aren't connected in a narrative way like TCW and the Prequels. TCW fills in gaps. I think things that used to bug me will bug me less because I have greater context for the Clone War, the characters involved (especially someone like Mace Windu), and the threads that weave so much of the seemingly separate pieces together. If that makes sense.
But, you could be right. The hitch of it all is that I actually have to WATCH the prequels in order to find out. And I'm finding that difficult to manage thus far.

Interesting point stip.
I was the same. But I'm now in a place where CW both adds to but is irrelevant to the prequels. When they hit? They hit big. But there's a lot of misses that just don't make any purchase in furthering the story of the prequels.
They do not at any point make the prequels worse though.
