I've been going through old pictures of my mom's. We had a yellow kitchen, avocado appliances, and THOSE were our dining room chairs.

The tan base in the front was a Tatooine diorama. They had identical bases, but the Tatooine one had a 3D sandcrawler with a working elevator. It was made of cardboard, and I broke it early on.

Nice collection shot from the other page. Do you still have your toys? I think most of mine are in my basement but I haven’t looked thru the containers in awhile

Yeah, I got everything. My kids only broke a few more than I did.

That’s crazy. I hope you don’t min B but I shared the pic with two collector pals And neither had even seen them before.

They look like the absolute best if you were playing with your figures as a kid.

You shared my blurry, 40yr old picture of Star Wars action figures?

They loved it :)

Nobody had ever seen the echo base before

I suspect that I still have that, at least the base.

I hadn't actually seen that before either. I had a lot of those playsets and I remember ones that I didn't have but I don't remember that one at all. It was cool to see.

How exactly did Luke manage to drag a mortally wounded Vader, unnoticed, to the hangar at the end?
Also, this from page 7:

He did die. But so did Yoda and Obi-Wan. It’s Star Wars, things can happen.

I like the idea that the big blue flash that comes up the shaft after Vader chucks him down there, is palpatines spirit escaping.
Silly head canon but fun.

Well, it was either than, or Palpatine was so powerful that he caused some kind of reactor to explode. Neither is particularly believable, but it looked cool.

Well it kinda makes no sense I can confirm that shaft runs straight down into the core. It’s in all the reference books. But you see the falcon and x wings flying in there and no problem.
So it sorta makes sense it’s his spirit.

Maybe the Rebels didn't even destroy the second Death Star. Maybe Palpatine hit the core and blowed it up.

I mean, Lando was surely going down a fake tunnel, b/c there is NO WAY the Empire would build a giant, ship-sized tunnel straight to the core of the Death Star after a farmer chucked a torpedo down their last, 12-inch vent. They were on a goose chase, and the only thing that REALLY blew up the Death Star was Palpatine's immense, Dark-side power striking the real core.

IT'S ALL RIGHT THERE!!

You should start a YouTube channel with that kind of insight you’d make millions.

Why the fuck would there be a shaft going from the core all the way out to the throne room? Does he like bathing in radiation or something?

Have you seen the Emperor? Radiation poisoning is NOT an absurd diagnosis.

I really miss the original version of this movie. The Jabba’s palace musical segment is unwatchable trash. Guess I’ll have to dig out the VHS player from the basement.
