Happy medium for me would be upgrade the special editions with the current cgi capabilities and do that. I have the OT on dvd no alterations. And I love the graininess and grime of it all. They’re my preferred option when I watch. I’d go as far to say make a complete set of all the films, prequels rogue one solo and the sequels and match them with filters to make them the same grimy grainy shoddy the ot was. But upgrade all the sound and music. I’d buy that. In a heartbeat. Would give them all a solid feel throughout all the films. And we’d be rid of the shit digital gloss cgi of the prequels |

Oh there’s zero chance they’ll be included. They’re available in a pretty decent quality DVD double feature, and I doubt they’ll see another release. |

They made the monster that hunts and feeds on them canon (gorax?) In the locations map book. It says something like the ewoks like high up in the trees to avoid their main predator.
