So if you put on the scene where the super star destroyer is crashin into the Death Star and you're looking out over Ackbars shoulder at it, you can actually hear a rebel shout 'so long dickheads!'
I was skeptical and just put it on to see and it's there! In the original cut, have yet to check the 97 edition.

also in Return of the Jedi, when Leia gets shot at the bunker, Harrison ford gropes her boob. I didn't notice it until somebody pointed it out to me and now it's all I see. Solo, you old dog you! :p

I can't believe there's an easter egg that I didn't know about, but it's at 0:37.

Just watching this now. With a cold eye.
Jedi is the most deeply flawed of all the films. Prequels included. It's got more plot holes and stupid mistakes both in story and set up than any of the other films.
It's the most fun of all the films but even a kid could see through the nonsensical screw ups.
I'm actually sad I chose to watch it and really take it apart but it comes apart so easily

I put on force awakens right after to snap me out of that.
But even the scroll at the start is shakey. Literally and literally! On the plus side it's got a lot going for it too. Production design second to none. The emperors throne room man. Amazing. And the space battle? Never been equalled. Doubt even the new films will come close. Also Decided I love the ewoks. Wicket is great the sound design for all of them alone is a story worth hearing. The lengths they went to for it.
I have a weird set of DVDs that were released in 97 or 99. They have the special edition cuts and the original cuts in 2 disc sets.
Just realised tonight that the special edition discs have a commentary by George Lucas on them. I am intrigued.
