They’ve changed and cut loads of it. It’s mental.
I'm curious about this. What's different? I thought the D+ version was unchanged from the 2011 Blu Ray.
As far as I can tell from Googling, there were no substantive D+ changes to ROTJ. Dime's probably remembering an older version. In fact, across the whole trilogy, the only change was the Maclunkey line by Greedo.
There were some logo and intro changes, but who gives a shit about that?

That's what I thought as well. But I haven't actually watched it to see.

It’s not that. At all. They’ve changed and cut out a bunch of stuff. Watched the last Jedi after it. That’s had some chops too. Can only assume they all have.

Palpatine doesnt die. Instead - he stops throwing lightning bolts at Luke and just tells him "ill be back" and flys out of the death star before it blows up

If you say so
I find it highly, HIGHLY, HIGHLY unlikely that they made changes 2 years ago and no one made a reddit thread, a blog post, or a comparison video (of which there are hundreds for every pixel that has been tweaked) ...
... But, OK, dime, you got 'em, man. Claim your trophy.

Cool.
Although there is a comment in that twitter feed that reads: "No Palpatine on the poster? He is the one who is victorious"
Ugh. We're gonna start seeing that crap now? Worst thing that could happen was bringing him back for a sh*t surprise in Episode IX, along with him being Rey's grandpa.
