So, was Lando also wearing brown? What colors were Luke and Leia's outfits? If Luke's Dagobah/ Bespin costume was some color other than khaki, I'm gonna lose it. |

I thought about that too. They’re all the normal colours you know them to be. Somehow. Loads of cool pics and Info on each costume and it’s design in this Star Wars Costumes book. |

Well it does kinda. The echo base set was vast so they probably had to over light it so in post they could play with saturation and stuff. If you look at the orange rebel jumpsuits when in the base you can see the over saturation by comparison to how they look on the snowspeeders when they’re outside. Just a guess though. Who knows. I can post pics of the other costumes like Luke’s both gear or landos outfit and they’d look as you would expect and remember them. There’s something else in the book about blue / navy being horrible to film as it doesn’t show up as blue rather it turns to black. Hans other outfits are all actually navy denim and a stone grey and they appear black on screen. So theres another example. |

You can in fact buy his capes. They launched a range of them when Solo was out. |

LUkes bespin fatigues and Landos cape look a lot brighter in these pics then they appear in the film. |

I just read the original first draft of Leigh Brackett’s script for this. I didn’t know a copy had been found. I knew there were synopses out there, not the actual script. Pretty fun to see all the differences. Great stuff. |

None of it was used but she died before it went into production and they gave her a spot in the credits anyways |

It’s the basis of the novelisation of ESB. No? |

No. Even tho it’s been years since I’ve read it, I’m pretty sure it follows the movie pretty closely. So, it’s the latest draft, I’m sure. |

IVe never read the novelisations of the ot. Somehow. It’s a good tactic though if you had a cynical mind. Hire someone to write a draft. Then you have an idea of what you’re not going to do. I know Lucas wasn’t doing that but you could apply that thinking to the new films and the firings and hirings. |

IIRC, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye was going to actually be the first sequel and was going to be adapted from the novel. Until the first movie became more popular than god. |

Did they make that into a graphic novel or series of them? I’m sure I had these when I was in my teens. All I can remember is palpatine had thousands of clones of himself in stasis and he could transfer to one and often had to as the use of the dark side withers a body really quickly. I could be completely misremembering that. But it was a graphic novel format |
