it would be really cool to know if the Sith lord had force ghosts too. If Anakin appears to Kylo in Vader form or as him.
It would be funny if in episode 9, hundreds of force ghosts appear and there's so much talking over each other that it's a mess and Kylo and Rey run away to do things on their own.

But he wouldn't appear to a Jedi and a sith, only one or the other. The force ghost of the same person isn't going to influence both sides of the force
true, but the ghost could appear to both Kylo and Rey, right - there's nothing that stops the ghost from communing whit someone not attuned to the same side, or is there?

I think JJ might come back to that idea he had in TFA.
The original ending of ROTJ had Yoda and Obi wan as force ghosts helping Luke battle both the emperor and Vader.
This is an idea you could see used In 9 amd a way to get Luke and Anakin and maybe even Obi wan onscreen helping Rey.
In a quiet moment that could work, but not in a battle or confrontation with Kylo. That would be so hokey.
What if Rey is up against Kylo and the Knights of Ren (assuming they are all Jedi types) , is faced with overwhelming odds, and then force ghosts of all those guys appear to help her? My inner fan boy won't let me evaluate whether or not that's a good idea
Still think the Canto Bight sequence is the only thing that isn't up to star wars par. A little too heavy handed and feels kind of washed over. really cool environment and Benecio's character is far underutilized.
Everything else? Top notch Star Wars and entertainment, friends.
yea but the thing about the movie is it turned out that he WONT be the last jedi. He was the last Jedi (Rey is still in training) and he wanted them to end and for him to die alone on the island along with the secrets and training of the jedi.
But but but luke is fucking amazing and he realized for the better and states "i will not be the last jedi"

why are you such an asshole in this thread
What? I was agreeing with stip. I think it would be an awful way to go bringing him back to life in the next movie. How is that being an asshole? Jesus Christ
