How dare you doubt me All that info is available in that EW article! Mostly There is another article coming later today about Rey. So let's see what it (doesn't) say and make educated guesses. It would be cool to hear about his family. Children being taken from their families both by the Jedi and the first order etc or just random orphans is a running theme in Star Wars
However. He doesn't have to be related to anyone. Imagine they did that? He has to be related to one of the two black peoples in the whole galaxy.
