The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Are we ready for luke to be a grumpy Asshole in this film?
I spose it's a natural progression from whiney farm boy.
Just wonder if he can hit the sweet spot on being old and a bit cranky and not too much into unlikeable.
I am. I want Luke to be completely different than we've ever seen him. On multiple levels. He'll never be "unlikeable" because he's already the hero of our hearts. As long as the film takes 10 seconds to explain why he's cranky, we'll identify and sympathize with him. We'll be on his side.

I'm hoping and guessing we're gonna get quite a good lengthy explanation on that. Either from Luke explaining to Rey and maybe some flashback shots or something. I can see Rian really exploring that.
It's actually only a week out. It's released the 15th. I thought it was the 17th to some reason.
Still though. Really odd move for an organisation so hell bent on secrecy. Some assholes gonna spill the beans.
How far in advance was the TFA screening? I don't remember anything leaking between then and the release day. Granted, I'm not glued to the sites/podcasts.

TFA premiere was 4 days before general release. And crucially in that short time, the rumours of Hans death that were floating around for months, were confirmed and spoiled fully before general release.
